Tips & Best Practices for Residential Customers

  • Please provide all forms of contact such as your email address and home, cell, & work phone numbers upon your initial call.  This information will be given to your project manager and will make communication easier throughout the length of your project.


  • To provide ease of access for our team who will be working hard to complete your repairs, please ensure your project manager has all means of access to get into your home, including access codes for any gates, doors, garages, and other secured spaces.  Many security companies offer options for temporary codes upon request for situations like these, so reach out to your service provider for the options available to you.


  • As animal lovers ourselves, we want to ensure your pets do not get hurt on the job site.  Please make arrangements for your pets to either be kenneled or otherwise kept in a separate space away from the construction area.


  • Please be mindful that in the case you are not able to remain in your home during construction, we will use lock boxes to allow our team members access to the site when needed.  


  • Prepare yourself for your home to be turned into a construction site.  We understand that it is often difficult for customers to allow anyone to alter a place that often holds as much sentimental value as it does monetary value.  However, it is important to maintain a healthy expectation of how things will look and sound while repairs are underway.  


  • Please keep in mind that construction zones are dirty, dusty, and noisy due to the amount of demolition and material cutting going on.  We understand that this provides a level of inconvenience that is uncomfortable within your home as appliances may be displaced and difficult to operate while construction is happening. 


  • Many customers find it helpful to make living arrangements away from home due to the disruption of daily life that home construction causes.  If you will be staying away from home during repairs, please take care that all appliances are emptied to prevent spills that could result from moving the appliances during the project.


  • While we take the utmost care to respect your property and valuables, we do not want to take the risk of those valuables being damaged as a result of them being within the construction area.  Please kindly remove sentimental and high valued items from these areas prior to work starting. 


  • We do our very best to get your job done as expediently as possible, however, many obstacles can arise with material orders, scheduling trades, and compliance with codes requirements that often slow the process of the job. Please keep in mind that while we are not able to guarantee the job will finish by a specific date, we work diligently on every customer's home and are committed to getting your home back to normal.
